The Annual General Meeting of the Harvard University Club of Ottawa will take place at 7:15 PM following dinner. The main item on the agenda will be the election of officers to the Executive Committee of the Club. The Executive currently has several vacant positions including those of president and secretary. All members of the club are entitled to nominate candidates for these positions.
You are hereby invited to email your nominations to the Nominating Committee, which consists of André Potworowski and Paul Samson. To do so, remove the 77 from the following email address before sending your response: harvardottawa77@gmail.com. Specify "Candidates HUCO Board" in the subject line. Please include a brief bio of your nominee.
Nominations from the floor at the actual meeting are also possible. A list of nominees will be circulated by e-mail to all members approximately one week ahead of the AGM.

This meeting was initially announced for June 12, 2009 in conjunction with an event hosted by the French Embassy, on the topic "The Role of France in the World Today." While the event at the Embassy will go ahead as planned, the club AGM has been rescheduled due to the absence of several members of the Executive Committee.
